Anderson

Renowned entertainer Tennessee Ernie Ford was born and raised in Bristol at 1223 Anderson St. in the oldest and most established neighborhood in the city. The Anderson neighborhood, near Blountville, is lined with post-war cottages built mostly in the 1930s-50s and includes the newer Akard and Mount Tucker additions. Anderson residents enjoy the close proximity to the Volunteer Parkway and several local parks.
